This is a WW2-era Springfield Armory M1 Garand, manufactured in March of 1944. Given its production date, this rifle was likely issued in time for the Normandy Invasion (D-Day) or later European campaigns, making it a strong candidate for having seen frontline action in the European Theater of Operations (ETO).
It retains its original WW2 components, including a moderate 2.5-barrel reading, a medium-wear stock and receiver, and its original sling. The wear on the stock and metal surfaces is consistent with field use, further supporting its potential service history. M1 Garands produced in early 1944 were commonly issued to U.S. infantry units fighting through France, Belgium, and Germany, and this rifle may have been carried by a soldier through some of the most pivotal battles of the war.
All firearms listed in this auction are the property of Collectors Crossroads and will be sold exclusively through that entity. As a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder in the state of Texas, Collectors Crossroads will handle all necessary FFL processing, fees, background checks, and legal transfers.
Upon purchase, buyers must comply with all federal, state, and local firearm laws. All firearm transfers will be conducted through Collectors Crossroads’ licensed FFL location or shipped to a verified FFL dealer of the buyer’s choice (for a fee) where applicable. Buyers are responsible for ensuring they meet all legal requirements to complete the transfer.

Third-Party Shipping Option
Buyers, both domestic and international, may arrange shipping through a third-party carrier of their choice.
However, Treasure Trove Auctions assumes no responsibility for the acts or omissions of third-party shippers, even if they are recommended by our team.
International Buyers
International buyers are fully responsible for any duties, taxes, clearance fees, or additional import charges imposed by their country. These fees are not included in the shipping cost and must be paid directly to the appropriate customs authorities upon arrival.
As the auction house, we handle the packing, shipping, and handling of your purchased items with care. However, we are not global import experts and as such, buyers must be aware of and comply with their country's import regulations, restrictions, and legal requirements regarding the items they purchase.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify import laws and restrictions for their country before placing a bid or purchasing an item, cover any customs fees, VAT, or additional import duties required by their government, and ensure the item is legally permissible for import into their country. While our team strives to provide guidance based on past experiences, all final responsibility for customs clearance, import compliance, and associated fees rests solely with the buyer.
