This lot features an original Early WWII German SA Dagger manufactured by the lesser-seen firm C. Lutters & Cie., Löwenwerk, Solingen. The dagger presents as a classic early-pattern example, retaining its traditional nickel-plated crossguards, brown wooden grip with intact SA roundel and enamel eagle, and a cleanly seated blade. The blade measures approximately 9 inches in length, with an overall length of approximately 14.5 inches, and remains in very nice condition with crisp lines and legible maker marking. At the base of the grip there is a small chip to the wooden grip as depicted in our imagery.

Of particular note, the lower reverse guard is Gruppe/Gau marked “Ns”, denoting Niedersachsen, a district in northern Germany along the North Sea coast. Regional markings such as this add an additional layer of collectibility, directly tying the dagger to a specific SA administrative district. The maker, C. Lutters & Cie., is considered a scarcer Solingen producer, and examples by this firm are encountered far less frequently than those from the more common manufacturers, especially on SA daggers.

The dagger is accompanied by its original belt hanger and the overall condition is consistent with period use and careful preservation, making this an excellent representative example of an early SA dagger with a rare maker and desirable regional marking. A strong opportunity for collectors seeking something beyond the more commonly encountered Solingen names.
